StratchTutor - Introduction

StratchTutor (Kibby and Mayes, 1989) is a hypertext system designed for tutoring applications. Its main focus is in providing intelligent tools to authors and users for eliminating hypermedia disorientation and manual link creation problems. StatchTutor offers authoring without programming and no coding at the level of organisation of learning material. Links are not explicitly represented and no sequencing between nodes is necessary. Exploration of hypermedia network can be done in many different ways. Two types of computed links are supported. StratchTutor facilitates learner control and feedback to learner for achieving  learning purposes.
