Anchor - Introduction

Anchoring is the mechanism for addressing (referring to) locations or substructures  within a node. Anchors an indirect addressing entities between links and nodes. Links have as their destination anchors which in turn have nodes as their destination. This indirect anchoring mechanism is necessary to support links between part of nodes ( span-to-span links ).
